Just what does it take to make a really great web site? Some interesting text, eye catching graphics, an animated mailbox?

Truth is, designing web sites is much more complex than that and just owning an HTML editor like Microsoft's Front Page won't make you a web designer. Skills in illustration, page layout, animation, copy writing and editing, marketing and programming, to name a few, all play a part in the creation of a truly elegant and engaging web site.
