FREE READY-MADE WEB APPLICATIONS
Having scripts custom developed for your needs is always the best way to go, but can also be very cost-prohibitive for many businesses. To accomodate our clients who are on a limited budget we have partnered with SITE-etc which offers FREE use of over two dozen web applications with their hosting packages. Just because these applications are affordable (what's more affordable than free?), doesn't mean they are inferior in any way. SITE-etceras were developed from scripts that were custom developed for other web clients. They have the same quality; the only difference being that they are not custom tailored to each client's needs.
If custom is what you need, though, and your budget is still tight, SITE-etceteras can even be modified for your needs. This makes custom more affordable because it begins with a ready-made foundation.
Asic Village was a job recruiting site that unfortunately became suffered from the dot.com crash and is no longer active. It used many SITE-etceteras including eNews, Forum, Members Only!, Job and Resume Posting, Tell-a-Friend, Amazon Assoc.etc, Resource Links, DBForm, Message Board, and Rotating Banners. All the applications that ran this site were free.
