So you want to do it yourself? If you've read the web site recipe, you have learned that much goes into making a web site. Web development requires skills that the average person does not have, such as graphic design and copy writing, not to mention the multitude of web specific skills. For this reason, I do not recommend just anyone creating his or her own site. Those that have tried almost inevitably are excited about their accomplishment in the beginning but soon tire of its unprofessional presentation and end up hiring a designer anyway. So why this section on training?

Maintenance Training
Once your site has been designed there will inevitably be maintenance required to keep it up to date. Sometimes all that is required is editing text rather than redesign and it would be more cost effective to have in-house personnel perform those tasks.

For $50 an hour we will come to your office and train a member of your staff in these simple maintenance techniques.

Classes
We also conduct training classes for schools and organizations in graphic design, web page development, PhotoShop, page layout, and basic Internet. Please call for rates.
